About The Director
The Director of the school is Mrs. Urmil Bakhshi, a post graduate in education. With over 40 years of teaching andadministrative experience, she has taught in a host of schools across the country and eventually at the Springdales School, Pusa RoadNew Delhi.
The techniques and philosophiesof the Principal, Mrs Rajani Kumar had a strong influence on her, and she thus became a founder member of the Govind Ram Education Society, established on 01 July 1994 which started the Bakhshi Springdales School chain in Kota. It was her dynamism and leadership which has in this short span led to the establishment of four schools in Kota, with the school at Borkhera being the main school.
The schools providea suitable environment to the students in the formative years of their life to ensure an all-round development to make them good, happy, moral and dynamic individuals. Emphasis is laid on teaching the tenetsof all the religions so that the students may learn the true meaning of secularism.
The main schoolhas already been granted recognition by C.B.S.E. New Delhi.The school is at present up to Senior Secondary (XII standard) with science and commerce stream and has 1500 students.
Besides education, she takes active interest in welfare activities.She is a Rotarian, has traveled extensively in India as her husband, Brigadier VP Bakhshi served in the Indian Army for 30 years, and has had the opportunity to visita number of foreign countries.On her numerous trips to the USA, she visited a number of schools to understand their system of education, some of whose best practices find an echo in our schools.
