RESULT - 2017

Every academic year is a significant milestone .The Annual Day is an occasion to celebrate, a time to look back with pride and look ahead with vision. Exploring new horizons, finding new dimensions in growth, we have continued to do our best in the last academic year.

We are happy to present the highlights of our achievements in the year 2016-17.

AISSCE RESULT- 28th May 2017

Total 144 students appeared, 76 in Science and 68 in commerce stream. Akshat Jain topped science stream with 91.8% , Divya Vaswani commerce stream with 93.6%.

This year three students got their selection in various IIT colleges. They are Aakash Jangid,Pratyush Sharma and Ishan Damadia .Sarvodaya Singh went to BITS Pilani.

AISCE RESULT -3rd June 2017

Total 185 Students appeared. 26 got 10 CGPA.

A grades in English 27,66 in hindi,31 in maths,37 in science and 34 in so.science.

As per the Board’s directive from this academic year all students of Class X will appear for the Board Exam.

Remedial Programmes are organized in Maths and Science, for students of Classes IX and X.

Through the year students are encouraged to take part in a multitude of activities and competitions. These are with a view to build a well-rounded character and instil confidence in them.

Our students appeared for the State and National talent search examinations held in November, the results of which are awaited.

With a view to develop skill in public speaking and confidence in our students, debate competitions are held regularly. Our students participated in Sahodaya Debate Competition.

Interschool Debate competition under the aegis of Kota Sahodaya Complex on 18th Nov in Springdales Naya gaon Topic of the debate was “teenagers are self-absorbed these days and care only for themselves”.Anshika Balwada for the motion Ria Chowdhary against the motion Prakhar Jain was the Interjector. Ria Chowdhary won third prize.

On 19th Nov 2016 Interschool sr. group debate under the aegis of Kota Sahodaya Complex was held at Sprindales school naya gaon topic was “Citizen participation leads to good governance Ishaan Jain Mridul Nainwani were the speakers and Agraj and Riyansh were the interjectors Mridul Nainwani bagged consolation certificate .

On 26th Nov.2016 Inter school spell well competition was held at Mittal international school.

On 6th Dec 2016 silver zone Maths Olympiad was held total 199 appeared for the exam.

Green Olympiad was held on 22nd Nov 2016. 4 students who scored highest mark in Green Olympiads were awarded. Pradiksh Shah, Sarveen Kaur, Kritin Sharma, Kamendra Rundla.

In International Maths Olympiads, 5 students scored state rank. Shivansh Jhamtani won Gold, Arun Jain, Mohit Goyal, Kritin Sharma and Rohit Mandhyan won Silver Medals.

NSTSE, Ishita Rahod of Standard iiird stood 1st at state level, while Simran Suman of Standard 3rd was city topper and Kritin Sharma was at state rank 8th.

On 17th Dec Inter school science exhibition was organised in Maa Bharti school for class 9th and 10th

On 22nd Dec 2016 students of classes 6th to 10th put up a Maths Exhibition students prepared charts and models.

7 students were awarded distinction certificate for scoring 80-90% in STATE TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION. Akshat Jain, Navneet Khandelwal, Sorvodaya Singh, Parul Parita, Sanjay Singh Rathode, Shritik Goyal and Shradha Saini.

Hadoti Heritage Quiz was organised by Kota Garh Palace Trust. Senior & junior team participated accompanied by Mrs Savita Sharma class VIII to X gave online quiz for PCRA, two students were selected for the district level competition, Daksh Jain of XC & Anita Jain of IX D.

To instill & inculcate each and every quality and essence of character building in our children, various programmes were organized through Bal Sabhas for every class. This helps the students to be competitive and gives them the ability to face an audience. Through this we also discover the talent in children which would have otherwise remained latent.

Many Inter House Competitions such as debate, speech, quiz, poster making, decoration of salad , Solo and group dance, chess competition were held.

SPORTS

Sports are an integral part of the school curriculum. Besides regular sports activities, our students are encouraged to participate in competitions. In the State Skating competition – Aryan Sharma of class X won the competition and was selected for nationals.

Sahodaya Interschool Table Tennis Competition was held in under 14 school team stood second 62nd District Level Inter school Table Tennis Competiton, was hosted was the school from 1st to 3rd September, 2017.

Priyanshi Prajapati won the Medal & Trophy at 11 Sports Inter School Table Tennis Competition held at Ajmer.She won state level championship.

Rajathan State Table Tennis Ranking Tournament-2017 was organised from 12th -14th -May 2017, at Ajmer, from our school 12 students compete, Priyanshi Prajapati,Jheel Toshniwal,Lakshya Toshniwal,Naitik and Aarav were selected for the nationals.

62nd District Table Tennis competiton was held from 1st August to 4th August 2017 at Govt Sec School, Kota Junction.In Team Event Under 17(Boys) Stood second, Team-Chirag Mittal, Ahad Khan, Sankalp Yadav, Aditya Sharma, Priyansh Bansal.

Team Event under 19- The Team stood III, Team Comprise of Hardik Maheshwari, Kamendra Rundla, Ayush Suman, Harshdeep Singh, Jatin Sharma.

Individual Event 12-17, Chirag Mittal is selected for the state level.

Under 19- Hardik Maheshwari won the 1st position and Ayush Suman stood II.

For under 19 Harshdeep singh, Hardik Maheshwari, Ayush Sharma are selected for the state.

In the year 2017 we got NCC Kota Junior Air Wing Troop (50 Cadets). This year 28 girls and 22 boys were selected for the training as cadets.

On 5th may 2017 NCC Girls celebrated world environment day. First they did plantation an then following the slogan of this year’s world environment day to connect with nature they visited CV Garden, where they interacted with the people, made them aware about the nature and the Environment Day.

NCC Girls celebrated International Yoga Day. They practised various Asana under the guidance of their care taker Ms Hemlata Mahawar.

12 NCC girls went on ten days tracking camp to Ajmer

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES:

An exciting competition was organized by the Power Grid Corporation of India. Out of 55,000 entries, 50 entries were short listed from all Rajasthan of which one Daksh Yadav was selected from our school.

An inter school patriotic song competition was held in Kota, organized by Anuvrat . The Choir won the first prize for Folk singing.

The school choir participated in group song competition organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad, vivekanand shakha.

SEMINARS AND WORK SHOPS

A workshop on best out of waste for 6th standard was conducted.

50 students attended a painting workshop held at Kota Art gallery.

Workshop on effective English teaching was organised by Ratna Sagar on 10th Dec 2016 at Hotel Lilac all the English teachers attended the workshop.

Kathak recital by renowned kathak dancer Divya Dixit, on 24th April 2017, it was organised by SPICMACAY.

Seminar was conducted on 25th April 2017 to commemorate “No Horn Day”.

WORDWORTH

“Learn India Learn” gave the demo of their software “how to make courses & lesson plan. The demo was to make the teachers know how they can prepare the lesson and courses. The workshop was attended by Adm. Vineet Bakhshi, Principal Mrs. Vijaykumari, Vice Principal Mrs. Iram Qamar, Mrs. Ritu Bhargava, Mrs. Meena Aheer, Ms. Neelashree Majumdar, Mrs. Shilpi, Ms. Ashpreet Kaur, Mr. K S Sawhney, Mr. Rahul Verma, Mr. Abrar Hassan, Mr. R S Rathode, Mr. Shahnawaz.

Ex Bakhshiite Jai Agarwal along with his partner Saurabh Gupta visited school. He did his mechanical Engg, worked in Infosys, now step into start up name of his start up “Rejected Writers”. He visited to interact with the children, he talked about how children or budding writers can join his startup.

CBSE organised a 2 day workshop on capacity building classroom management at Lawrence and Mayo Public School, 62 teachers of various schools attended the workshop.It was attended by Anita Chaurvedi, vandana Rana and Iram qamar Swatchhta Pakhwara was observed from 1st September to 15th September.

Dr M L Agarwal a Senior Psychiatrist visited the school, interacted with the students about the stress in the student life. IHC mime competition was also organised on this day.

Best teacher award from our school was giving to Mrs. Deepmala Sahu & Mrs. Usha Iyer by Sahodaya Schools Complex. Dainik Bhaskar falicitated the teacher on this occasion from our school, Mrs Savita Sharma & Ms. Parmeet Arora were nominated for the award.

On 6th September, 2017, workshop on KVPY & IJSO was conducted by Bansal Classes for the students of IX & XI standards.

Doctors from Daswani Dental College visited school for regular dental check-up of students.

Sahodaya School Complex organised Diwali Meet for the head of schools & teachers at Kota Club. Many schools participate in cultural activities, our school performed mime on miss use of mobile phones.

Teachers were given training how to use English lab by “WORDSWORTH”, the training was given by the product trainer Shreyas Rajan.

Development

  • New additional floor in Borekhera with new staff room for teachers,library and a computer lab wih 44 computers.
  • An English lab by Wordsworth is installed.
  • To make school environment friendly solar power panels of total generating capacity of 51 kw was commissioned in the school premises.
  • Sprinkler system to water the west play ground
  • New garden and a basketball court have been constructed in civil Lines and chhawni wing respectively.
  • A dance studio has been set up at chhawni wing.
  • Refurbishment of restrooms on second floor.
  • Charitable activities are a part of our constitution
  • Swacch Bharat Ayojan and Serv Shiksha Abhiyan as desired by our Honourable Prime Minister were undertaken. The school provided Scholarships of varying values to 39 students.
  • In the Swacch Bharat Ayojan, the school saw the success of the Ladies Toilet Block in village Kundanpur, being used by 70-80 ladies every day. Therefore, work was initiated to construct a ladies toilet block as part of an extension to an Aanganwadi in village Aadusa. Aong with a well-constructed community area. We expect to complete this work by Dec 2017.
  • Further considerable upgradation and repairs to the Govt Secondary School Girdharpura was undertaken wherein , a proper kitchen, complete reflooring, rewiring, plumbing work, water proofing, painting, provision of furniture for four class rooms, stone flooring of the compound and developing of a volleyball court was undertaken.
  • Sweaters were provided for all students of the Govt. Schools at Ram Nagar and Girdharpura.
  • New facilities and up gradation of infrastructure was undertaken for all schools.
  • All schools have their own walkie talkies to enhance security.
