Event & Achievement - 2015

ARTS

  • Kota heritage Society in association with Indian craft and design organization ,Llait kala Academy oragnised afour days art summit 5 students painting were selected—Rashi Sharma, Anjali Jain ,Dushyant Rathore,Dniya Hashmi,Aayushi Pohiya
  • A spiritual speech was delivered by Shri Chakraborty of Iskon temple Mumbai on the importance of Geeta
  • Road Safety Week was celebrated from 11th Jan to 17th Jan 2015
  • 66th Republic Day was celebrated Rt. Admiral Vineeet bakhshi hoisted the tricolour.
  • On 13th Feb 2015 eleventh class bid farewell to their seniors’ ,.Dushyant Rathore was selected as Mr. Bakhshiite and Nausheenn Khan was selected as ms. Bakhshiite.
  • The Govind Ram Memorial Educational Society also organized a musical mono act by Padma Sri Shekar Sen on KABEER. This was with a view to inculcate in children, the values of simplicity and of tolerance. This was also as a memorial to the school’s founder, late Brig. V.P Bakhshi.
  • Inter house story telling competition for class 4th and 5th was organised Amity house won Hindi competition and Prosperity House won the English story telling competition
  • 18 th April fancy dress competition was held for prep A and B.
  • Hadoti Heritage Quiz was organised by Rao Madho Singh Trust on 18th April ,participant were Aman Shakya ,Bhavya Jain, Gunjan Kotwani and Deeoshikha Kachhawa.
  • On 18th April Rotary Club organised Kota’s Got Talent, Aniket Nagar stood second in solo dance
  • Inter house Drawing Competition was organised on 25th April Prosperity House won the competition.

Result AISSE & AISSE 2015

  • 179 students appeared and got through in AISSE, 86 were A graders, out of which the highest score of 10 CGPA was achieved by 16 students Abhimanyu Parihar ,Akash Jangid ,Akshat Jain , Aman Jain, Bhawna Mittal,Deeewanshi Jain, Ishan Damadia, Ishan vijavergiya, Jahnvi Jaiswal, Kanika Porwal,Milind Jain,Piyush Bohra, Prateek Jain Pratyush Sharma, Sanjay singh, Sarvodaya Singh.
  • In AISSCE 138 students sat in the exam, A Mansi Jain secured 1st position in school with 95.4% marks. Followed by Ritweeka Vashishtha with 92.6% and Ankita Paryani with 92 % score.
  • In commerce faculty Vedika Agarwal scored 95 % followed by Shashank Khatri 90% and Ritwika Dadhich with 89.9% marks.
  • Five students got selected in IIT 2015 Mudit Bansal,Pranjal Jain,Ritvika Vashishtha, Mansi Jain and Nalini Meena
  • Inter House Dance Competition was held on 10th July 2015 Prosperity House won the competition.
  • Inter House Spell Bee Competition was held on 13th July where Prosperity House stood first.
  • Inter House Slogan Contest was held on 14th July Topics for the slogan were Corruption, Yoga, Child labour and Save Electricity
  • Inter House Table Tennis Tournament was held on 17th July Amity house was the winner in Under 17 team while fraternity House was the winner in under 14 Team.
  • IHC Hindi Story Telling competition was organised for classes 1st to 3rd Peace House was the winner
  • On 23rd July 2015 “Green Locality “ was inaugurated ,an initiative taken by tjhe school to motivate plantation in our surrounding. It was organised by Mrs. Akhilesh Awasthi Mrs. Urmil Bakhshi,. Vineet Bakhshi,and Mrs. Vijay kumari along with the staff and students.
  • On 25th July 2015 Science and Social Science Exhibition was put up by 9th and 10th students respectively.
  • NCC was introduced for girls from this year
  • On 29th Bournvita quiz contest was organised at Rotary Binani Sabhagar our school team of Mann Tanwani and Yash Raghuvanshi won the contest.
  • 1 On 31st July IHC English Recitation competition for classes 1st to 3rd was organised, Prosperity House was the winner.
  • 6th August 2015 Hiroshima Day was celebrated
  • 8th August 2015 was celebrated as Quit India Day.
  • IHC solo Dance and Group competition was held on 15th August 2015 Peace House won the solo and group dance competitions.
  • On 20th August 2015 Inter class Power Point Presentation class X was the winner.
  • IHC Hindi Debate Competition was held on 22nd August 2015 the topic was ‘Shiksha Jeevan Hai ,Jeevan Yaapan Ka Sadhan Nahi.’ Amity House stood first.
  • Govt. School District Table Tennis Tournament was held from 12th august to 14th August 2015. Priyanshi Prajapti stood second in under 14 girls mohd. Aamir Khan stood third in Under 17 boys.
  • Rajasthan State Covt. Table Tennis Tournament was held on 19th to 23rd Aug 2015 at Jaisalmer.Priyanshi Prajapati was the winner in under 14 girls event.
  • On the occasion of Raksh Bandhan an IHC Rakhi Making competition was held on 27th August 2015 Peace House stood first.
  • On 5th Sep. 2015 Mrs. Neelam Gurwani and Mr. Navdeep Saxena were awarded as best teacher Award and Principal Mrs. Vijaya Kumari was felicitated at Resonance auditorium by Kota Sahodaya School Complex.
  • On 9th Sep 2015 Commerce workshop was organised by APC books New Delhi Mr. Anand Sharma attended the workshop
  • An English Workshop was organised by CBSE at Bansal Public School on 3rd Oct 2015. It was attended by Mrs. Vandana Rana and Ms. Versha Kanwar.
  • . IHC Science and Social Science Quiz Competition was held on 17th Oct 2015. Prosperity House stood first.
  • A work shop was held at Bakhshi’s Springdales school Chhawni for Pre Primary teacher.
  • . Song Cpompetition was organised by Bharat Vikas parishad Vivekanand Branch on 25th September. The choir secured 2nd position in Sanskrit song.
  • . On 7th Nov. 2015 Salad Dressing Competition was held for std. 3rd to 5th Vertika Solanki stood first from std 3rd and Ashish Mishra from 5th std.
  • On 21st Nov.2015 IHCBasketball match was held on 21st Nov.form 6th to 12th std. Fraternity House stood first among girls and Peace House stood first in Boys’ match.
  • 26th Nov.2015 was commemorated as ‘Constitution Day’, on this occasion special assembly was conducted poster making competition was also held on the same topic.
  • IHC Cricket match was held on 5th Dec.2015 from std 9th to 12th.Prosperity House won the match.
  • 10th Dec 2015 was celebrated as Human Rights Day special Assembly was conducted on this occasion.
  • We celebrated 81st Birthday of our dear Bakshi mam student sang birthday song. Blessed to have such a lively personality amongst us.
  • An English workshop was organised by Orient Black Swan on 19th Dec 2015.Mrs. Sangeeta Chaturvedi, Mrs. Neelam Gurwani , Mrs. Usha iyer mrs. Manu Raj Johri, mrs. Liza d’souza attended the meeting.
  • Educational cum picnic to Jhakoda Vilage was organised for 9th and 10th std. Result of AISSE and AISSCE 2015 16

SPORTS

  • In Basketball, our students went for 61st inter school district level basketball tournament. Under 19 & 17 Boys we grabbed first and second position respectively. Two students Aman Shrivastva and Akshay Khandelwal were selected for 61st state level basketball tournament under 19 and Yuvraj Singh and Ayush Goyal under 17. Under 19 Girls Yashika Choudhary went to Nathdwara for the same Championship.
  • At 61st Table tennis tournament we sent our team to fight at all levels. Under 14 boys we secured third position and Lakshya Toshniwal was selected for state level. Under 14 girls we grabbed the same position.Priyanshi Prajapati and Anjali Sharma got their selection for state level. Under 14 girls ( individual) Priyanshi Prajapati , under 17 boys (individual) Sanklap secured first position and Under 19 Manan Sethi got 1st position.
  • Under 17 boys the team got 3rd position. Ahad Khan and Sankalp singh Yadav were selected for state level. Under 19 boys we grabbed second position. Manan Sethi and Harshdeep Singh went at state level to represent the School.
  • Vaibhav Kushwah went for CBSE Cluster (West Zone) and won Gold Medal. He also represented in CBSE national in December.
  • EX- Bakhshitee's Anibha Daga represented India in London Fashion Week held between 16th to 20th September 2016.
  • We participated in Inter School Music Competition held in Modi Public School we got First , Fourth and Second in Hindi, Sanskrit and Rajasthani song respectively.

Event & Achievement - 2014

RESULT

  • 216 students appeared and got through in AISSE, 86 were A graders, out of which the highest score of 10 CGPA was achieved by 7 students. Avi Jain, Abhishek Dadhich, Anchal Singh, Mandlam Tarun, Mannu Kaul, Raunak Patni and Sikander Sharma.
  • In AISSCE 184 students sat in the exam, A water shed achievement was by Prakhar Gupta he secured 1st position in school with 97% marksfollowed by Shivangi Mittal with 94.6 % marks and Toshiba Agarwal with 94.6 % score.
  • In Science faculty Shubham Agarwal scored 96 % followed by Mandalam Tarun with 93.6% and Aayushi Khandelwal with 93.4 % marks.
  • Shubham Agarwal has been selected by the Natural Resources Department to get scholarship throughout his studies.
  • 6 students were selected in Various IIT colleges. They are Akash Gupta, Aayushi Khandelwal ,Atul Anand,Gurmandeep Singh Bedi,Shubham Agarwal ,Mandalam Karan.
  • Radhika Tyagi & Anam Khan won medical seats.
  • The school students participated in the UCMAS abacus competition, where in Divyanshu Gupta was runner up in Rajasthan. Divyanshu Gupta, Dhruv Bhatia and Anusha Gupta won consolation prizes at the Nationals
  • 46 students participated in the International Olympiad for Science and bagged 9 Gold, 6 Silver and 5 Bronze medals. Supreet Agarwal and Madlam Tarun of Class X secure 4th rank at national level.
  • 101 Students participated in International Olympiad for Maths. They won 9 Gold, 10 Silver and 9 Bronze medals. I must commend both Aryan Jain of Class II and Mandlam Tarun of Class X for securing the fourth International rank.
  • NSTSE was conducted by Unified Council, 104 students participated and 8 were selected for the second level competition. Jaspreet Kaur of class 1st was first in Rajasthan while Samarth Sharma of class 1st and Sarvodaya Singh of class 9th were the National Achievers.
  • International Maths Olympiad was organized by Science Olympiad foundation on 18th Decemebr 2013. 90 students participated 6 were selected for the second level.
  • Inter School GK quiz was organized by Ansh Events. Dushyant Rathore and Darshan Rathore won the senior group quiz.
  • Green Olympiad was organized by the Eneregy and Resource institure 32 students participated. Sikandar Sharma stood 1st in Rajasthan and won a cash award of Rs. 8000.
  • In an All India Essay Writing competition conducted by Ram Chandra Mission, Deepa Madhyan won first prize in English writing and Abhimanyu Singh and Shweta Mittal won merit awards in Hindi.
  • An Inter School Debate Competition for Std. IX to XII with the topic “Gandhian Philosophy is irrelevant in today’s world” – Peace house stood first.

SPORTS

  • In the State Skating competition held in November – Aryan Sharma of class VII won the competition and was selected for nationals to be held in Delhi
  • in Taekwondo State Tournament Varun Chaturvedi, Vaibhav Kushwaha and Naazish Khan won Gold medals, Astha Nainwani and Muskan Parveen won Bronze medal.
  • Rohan Saxena secured II position in Jr. boys team event at 59th GAIL Rajasthan State Junior District Table Tennis championship.
  • Priyanshi Prajapati of Std V won 1st Prize in 59th District Level Table Tennis Tournament and she participated in various Sub-Junior Table Tennis Tournament at State & National Level.
  • Ruchira Chandna of std 10th participated in 59th National School Games in Lawn Tennis
  • In 60th District Level, under 14 Football Tournament our boys have achieved second position and the under 17 boys came in 3rd 4 children were also selected for the district football team.

ARTS

  • Painting competition was organized by the Power Grid Corporation of India. Out of 55,000 entries, 50 entries were short listed from all Rajasthan of which 2 students were selected from our school. Dkash Yadav stood third at the State Competition in Jaipur, won a cash prize of Rs. 11,000 and will participate at the Nationals in New Delhi in December. Deepanshu Das Gupta received a merit certificate and an award of Rs. 1,000. An inter school patriotic song competition was held in Kota, organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad. The Choir won the first prize for Sanskrit and patriotic song. The team stood second in Folk singing.
  • 1Wild Life Day was celebrated on 1st October 2014. An Inter School painting & slogan competition were organized by the Zoological Department, Dushyant Rathore stood 1st and Ayushi Pohiya stood 2nd. In the senior group Gautami stood 1st in the slogan writing competition.
  • The school took part in the Cultural week of Army Public School, where first prize was bagged by Anjana Sahu for flower decoration. Second prizes were won by Pashmeen Sethi in Poster making and Rashi Sharma for painting competitions.
  • 2nd October 2014 was celebrated as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
  • 31st Oct.2014 Sardar Vallabh Patel’s birth anniversary celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. All the students took pledge to remain unified. Poster and painting competition along with a Inter house quiz was organized – Amity house won the quiz.
  • Kargil day celebration was onducted by Col. Piyush Agarwal, who was wounded in a Kargil operations. It was attended by a group of our students. It fostered a feeling of patriotism and awareness amongst our children.
  • 22. The school celebrated the birthday of the great mathematician Srinivas Ramanujan as Ganit week from 16th Dec to 22nd 2014. The children participated with great zeal and zest and learnt of his achievements.

SEMINARS - WORKSHOP

  • A motivational workshop for the students was conducted by an NGO SMILE to create interest among students about our cultural heritage. A Kathak recital was arranged by the school, performed by Kathak exponent Ms. Garima Bhargav.
  • Two days Nodal teachers training on adolescence, was organized by CBSE. It was held in Lawrence & Mayo Public School. It was attended by Mr. K.S. Sawhney and Mr. Harish Sharma.
  • A workshop was conducted by Science & Technology Department for awareness towards Bio Technology. Ms. Iram Qamar attended the workshop.
  • A three day workshop on Phonetics was conducted in the school by Mr. Navin Kalla. Phonetics have been introduced as a subject for Junior classes to strengthen the spoken English of the students
  • A seminar on art was organised by mrs. Victoria Singh Mrs. Depmala sahu attended the meeting
  • A workshop was conducted by Ratna Sagar for English teacher
  • A workshop was organised by Mr. Sultan chand at Modi Girls School Mr. Anand Sharma attended workshop
  • Bakhshite family donated Rs. 56000/- for Wild Life Conservation

DEVELOPMENT

The computer labs have been renovated and 82 LCD terminals with N-Computing technology have been installed. A CCTV surveillance system with 50 cameras has been installed in the school premises.

Event & Achievement - 2012

Independence Day Celebration

The 66th Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August with joy and happiness, the flag was hoisted by Brig. V Bakhshi and the students and teachers were addressed by Mrs. Vinita Bakhshi.

Inter-house Fancy Dress Competition

To commemorate the Independence Day, Inter-house Fancy Dress Competition was held on 15th August. The theme was Freedom Fighters. It was for senior and junior group. In Junior Group Prosperity House stood first, Fraternity House second followed by Amity House and in senior group Amity House stood first, Prosperity second and Peace House third.

Anuvrat Story writing competition for teachers:

Mrs. Seema Sharma story was selected and is published in the book of Anuvrat

Interschool debate competition

Interschool debate competition was held on 6th August 2012 at Disha Delphi Public school, Topic was Nuclearproliferation: A solution for the Peaceful existence. Mansi Jain won the first prize speaking against the motion and DushyantRathorewon second prize for the motion.Mansi also won the best speaker prize.

Inter House Slogan Writing Competition:

Inter house slogan writing competition was held on 30th July 2012 the Topic was Literacy Amity House stood first, Prosperity House Stood second and fraternity House third.

Inter House Rakhi making Competition: was held on 1st August 2012

Peace House won the competition followed by Prosperity and Amity house

Elections:

Elections for head boy and girl were held on 31st July 2012. NiraliKalwar was elected the head Girl and AkshayParasher was elected the Head Boy.

SCHOLAR SHIP FOR HIGHER STUDIES

The department of science and Technology and Govt. of India awardsscholarship for higher education. Under innovation in science pursuit for Inspired Research to the students who are within 1% at class 12 exams (2011-2012) conducted by boardsThe candidates within 1% cutoff marks 471 excluding 6th subject and eligible for scholarship of 80,000 Rs per annum for five years.

Naman Vijay Aggarwal (477)and Shankar Aggarwal(474)qualified for the award of scholarship.

IkenScientifica model making competition

NamanKhetan represented the school at National level Ikenscientifica model making Competition held on 25th June 2012 at New Delhi.

Interschool Hindi Poetry Competition

Interschool Hindi Poetry Competition was held at Modi Public school on 16th April 2012

Mansi Jain won the first prize and Aryan Maheshwari got consolation prize

Taekwondo Championship

Six students qualified for green belt in Taekwondo.

International Olympiads for Maths

Pranjal Jain of class 9th scored 100 marks and he won the cash award of Rs. 2500.

14th National science OlympiadPrabal Jain got 334 All India Rank

5th International Maths OlympiadSupreetAgarwal (489International Rank ), Pranjal Jain (233 IR ) Gurmandeep Singh Bedi (436 IR) they received certificate and SOF T-shirts.

Unified Cyber Olympiad 2nd level Utsavsinghalgot 81 All India Rank and won the silver medal.

All India Talent search Examination were held in Nov 2011 Mann Tanwani of class 4th won a silver medal and one subscription Magazine published by National teachers council.

First Commerce Olympiad was held on 7th Nov. 2011and its second round was on 29th Jan. 2012 KarsihmaChnadwani stood first,SaranshGoyal and PriyankaChoudhary shared the second position.

Anuvrat Essay Writing competition:Topic: Tootteparivaronkabachhon per prabhavAkshayParashar and ChaviGupta essays were selected and were published in the book published by Anuvrat Society .

Event & Achievement - 2010

13th National Science Olympiad second level Exam

was held in February No. of students selected 20, 8 students got above 500 International Rank .Akash Gupta 428, Vishal Sharma 173, BhaskarMathur 425, VishruitKulshreshtha 479, Utkarsh Deva 375, MradulDhakar 184, ShreyAgarwal 300, AarushiBhargava 242 these student received a certificate of merit and cash award 500 rs .

4th International Maths Olympiad second level exam

was qualified by seven students they received encyclopedia and among them AarushiBhargava got 25th rank internationally and got 1100 cash prize.

Unified Cyber Olympiad

Unified council organized Unified Cyber Olympiad 103 students participated among them 38 reached to the second level to be held in January 2012.

Geography Olympiad

Geography Olympiad was held on 18th Dec 2010 Aryan MaheshwariMeghnaDhakad, and Digha Jain won the gold medal. Pulkit Bhatt won the silver medal in sub junior level.

Rajasthan state level talent exam

Rajasthan state level talent exam was held by Rajasthan State AarushiBhargavawho won silver medal and scholarship of Rs. 5001.Rajat Gupta won bronze medal and scholarship of Rs. 2500. Zeba Khan, Ankit Gupta and VishruitKulshreshtha won brilliant student award and Rs. 1000 as cash prize.

National talent Search Exam 2010- 2011

In NTSE Karan Mandalam and Gurmaandeep Singh Bedi got scholarship of Rs. 6000.

Bharat Kojaano G.K.Quiz

Pride ofIndia lies in its rich cultural Heritage. Bharat VikasParishad Organizes G.K. Quiz annually at National level, entitled Bharat Ko jaano .

It is conducted on 5 various levels:

1st stage Intera School written test.Mansi Jain (IX) &Surbhi Jain (IX) from the senior Group and RohanSaxena and RitikaAgarwal from junior group qualified.

2nd stage Kota Inter School competition was held at St. Joseph School our Team won.

3rd stage Haroti Inter school competition at RawatBhata - again Rohan Jain &Ritika in junior Group and Mansi and Surbhi Gupta won laurels by lifting the winner trophy.

4th stage- State Level competition was held at Bhawanimandi on 27th November school stood Second in junior group participants were awarded a certificate and a cash prize of 500 rs..

Inter School Poetry Competition

Note worthy is the Interschool Senior and Junior poetry competition held in September Anam Khan and Arshiya participated in senior group and Manishi Mishra and Anchal Singh in Junior level Arshiya stood third in her group and Manishi stood First in junior group.

Philately exhibition cum competition

Philately exhibition cum competition was organized by Postal department on 20th Nov, Chidatman Jain of 9th std. won the second prize; he has collection of stamps more than 30, 000.

Abacus Competition

Brain wave quick Calculation on Abacus was held in November VarunChaturvedi stood first and is selected to participate in International Abacus competition held in Malaysia and SonakshiChauhan of class 2nd stood 2nd in the city in Junior level.

Inter School Debate Competition

An inter school debate competition was organized by Sahodya Complex it was categorized in two groups Senior and Junior.

Topic for senior was: Individual can lead the massesNausheen Khan and Aashirwaad Sharma participated.

Topic for Junior was: Today youth is fashion victims. Sikander Sharma and rohanSaxena participated for and against the motion.

Inter School Debate Competition

Sahodya Complex organized a debate competition on 13th Dec. Needhi Sharma and Nausheen Khan participated, Topic was Academic Qualification assure success in life

Interhouse Debate

An interhouse Debate was conducted for senior and junior.

Topic- Can Jan LokpalBiil Assure corruption free India?

Topic for the juniors was Internet boon or bane for the students.Prosperity House won the competition.

IkenScientifica organized a three leveled quiz competition, the first level was held in nov, result awaited the second level will be a skill based exam.

Anuvrat Drawing competition

FifteenthAnuvrat Drawing competition DushyantRathore won First prize.ShrutiNahar won the first prize in senior English essay Writing competition.

Drawing Competition

Department of science and technology organized a drawing competition in October it was categorized in three groups.45 students participated, Smita Singh won 2nd prize in senior group and ShreyaGautam ,PranjalDhakar and Sheenam Khan won the consolation prize.

Central Board of Sec. Education organized a painting competition on water Conservation. Saurabh Singh Painting was selected and he received a cash prize of 1000 rs , a momento and a certificate.

Song competitions:

11thAnuvratnaitikgeetgayan competition school senior group stood first school reached to national level of competition held at Delhi choir stood second and received cash prize of 11 thousand rs.

Occassion - Inter School Patriotic Song Competition in September

No. of Participants 8 , won the regional level and qualified for the national level which was held at Moradabad.

Sports

56th District Tournament were held from 3rd Sep to 8th Sep

Basketball tournament was hosted by our school

This year school players were selected for the state level tournaments:

For Under 14 Sikender Sharma and Divyanshu Jain of class 8th ,Jaspal Singh were selected for state level Basketball tournament.

U 19 boys football team 5 students were selected for state level tournament Ajay Sharma, AbhimanyuBhati, Gaurav Sharma,

Swimming

In 56th District level Lawn Tennis Tournament Kinjal Gupta of 5th std. and Ruchira of 7th std. won the gold and was qualified for the state level tournament.

Anirudh Singh of tenth std. won 3 gold in 30 m, 50, 100m Swimming competitions.

Taekwondo

Ayush Mishra of 12thStd won a gold Medal in National Taekwondo Championship and he is now a black belt holder as he qualified the exam conducted by Taekwondo federation of India.

In Rajasthan Open Junior and Sub-junior Boys and Girls Taekwondo Championship a team of 15 students participated and all of them return with flying colors they bagged 7 Gold, 6 silver and 2 Bronze.

Seminars, workshops

Motion and Rao IIT conducted talent search Exam for the VIII to XII students.

Multiple nature test was conducted by Jiva Institute in collaboration with trendz Academy 52 students took the test , this test enabled them to know their nature which would enable them to choose their career.

Our school hosted a one day work shop for the students of classes IX to XII.The topic was to know your nature while opting a career. Resource person was an educationist Steve Rudolph of Jiva education.

Another work shop was conducted for the students from class IV to IX to develop scientific thinking among the students it was conducted by IkenScientifica.

Students of XII commerce were invited to meet the income tax office to make the students aware of income tax .They were accompanied with Mrs. Seema Sharma and Mr. Anand Sharma.

Anuvrat conducted a story writing competition for teachers Mr. DeendayalSoni’s story was selected and published in the book of Anuvrat.

This year school participated in a walk to respect women a joint effort of Kota Police and The youth of Kota and in October to commemorate the world heart Day students and teachers participated in run for the heart campaign organized by the Kota Heart Society.

GayatriParivar Trust started a campaign of tree plantation “Vriksh Ganga Abhiyan” with the help of students they planted 20 various trees.

SPORTS

The session began with the victory and won three gold, 8 silver and six bronze medals, when school Taekwondo team of 17 students had the bout in their respective categories in 5th Taekwondo Championship.

School hosted Taekwondo Championship in collaboration with sahodya Complex on 22 and 23rd Sep. Our team won 17 gold, 11 silver and 2 bronze medals in various categories.

Tushar N Rajan was selected for national Taekwondo.

Girls and Boys under 19 participated in 55th District Level Football Championship. Under 19 & 17 boys were the runners up.

School team participated in 55th District Basketball Championship.

Jayant Yadav, Arihant Jain and Piyush were selected to play for the state in under 19 team. Daksh Suhalka played for State, Under 17 team and won a gold medal. Well done Daksh.

All India Citizen Development centre organized Drawing and Painting contest. Roopal Gupta won Kalaratna Award for drawing.

In the power grid drawing competition organized by Energy Conservation Department, Govt. of India. Garvit Dhariwal was selected for his drawing at the second level and received cash award of Rs.1000 at Jaipur on 14th Nov. Congrats Garvit.

On the occasion of our 14th Annual function then GOC 18 Div. Gen Ravi Dastane created a fund to give incentive to young boys who join the NDA. This year Arijeet Singha qualified and joined the NDA on 11th Jan 2011, he was honoured on 6th Dec. with a trophy, certificate & a cash award of Rs. 2100/-.

From time to time Inter house competition take place the Prosperity House emerged the victor in this session.

VISITS & TRIPS

Visit to Science Express on 24th April and Mother Express on 12th Nov.

On 11th Dec IX and X students went for picnic to Rameshwaram, On 23rd Dec XI and XII went for picnic to Abheda Palace and Gadria Mahadev and on 24th Dec. Junior Section had an excursion at the same place.

Various seminars and conferences are held to keep pace in the field of education.

In May the teachers attended the three days LIVE workshop conducted by Art of living.

In October Iram and Parmeet Arora attended a seminar on Adolescent Mental Health.

Parmeet Arora and Madhu Mathur attended a work shop on the Hindi teaching methods conducted by Sarawati Publication. On 7th Dec Rachna Sagar organized a day long workshop in our school on ‘Art of Teaching’ the resource person was Avneet Kaur about 100 teachers benefited from it.

Three days Adolescence workshop was conducted by CBSE from 6th Dec. to 8th Dec; It was attended by Kusum Vijay,Parmeet Arora, Sanif Khan and Navdeep Saxena.

On 11th Dec Vijaya Kumari attended a workshop cum Principal Meet at Lawrence and Mayo Public School in Association with Kota Sahodaya Schools Complex the resource person was Mr. G. Balasubramanian, former Director CBSE.

This year we undertook to provide daris, pattis & uniforms to under privileged children in a Govt. school at Prem Nagar. It has been adopted by us in collobaration with Rotary Club, Kota.
We have completed the construction of the stage. It has been a well equipped with the latest sound system.

10 rooms have been equipped with Smart Classes which are being effectively run for last 1 year. 10 more rooms will be given the same facility. A new nursery wing is under construction.

In Rajasthan Talent Search Exam Aarushi Bhargava received silver medal and cash award of Rs. 5000/-, Rajat Gupta got bronze medal and 2500/-. Riya Sharma and Vishruit Kulshrestha got brilliant medal and cash award of Rs. 1000/-

Aarushi Bhargava got brilliant medal award in Talent search by Saraswati Shiksha Award. She stood 25th International ranking in IMO and 212 in NSO

Event & Achievement - 2009

Technotholon was organized by IIT Guwahati on 19th July.

Saumitra Saxena and Vishal Sharma from 1st Group. Rajat Gupta and Punit Galav from the 2nd Group received silver certificates for qualifying. They were amongst top, out of 250 teams in India.

An English champion hunt was conducted by Utsavam Kota in two levels SPARK and FLAME on 18th July and 16th August respectively. Nausheen Fatima of class seventh stood second in the competition.

Bharat Vikas Parishad organizes G.K. Quiz annually.

Shankar Sharan Meena and Manish Rai reached upto 3rd Stage - the Regional Level.

In Unified Cyber Olympiad was held on 12th Sept. 67 students participated. Out of these 27 were selected. Akash Gupta stood 65th in All India Ranking.

World Population Day Sindhu Social Circle asked suggestions for girl education from the students Radhika Mundra and Shazia Khan suggestions were appreciated and they were awarded.

Crowning glory was achieved when our star singer Himanshi Joshi won the first National Award in solo singing. She got cash prize of Rs.11,000. The choir won second prize and they were awarded Rs. 11,000. The occasion was the 10th National Song Competition organized by Anuvrat.

Bharat Vikas Parishad organized Chetna Ke Swar an Inter school group song competition on 16th Aug. The choir stood first in all the three categories viz. Hindi patriotic song, Sanskrit song and Folk song.

Innerwheel club Kota organized a drawing competition th topic was Eye Donation. Arshi Naaz and Priya Ramani won consolation prizes.

Haroti Naturalist Society celebrated Wild Life week. Various drawing competition were held. Pashmeen Sethi stood third. The drawing teacher Mrs. Deepmala Sahu got the 1st position. Principal Civil Lines (Ms. Nishat Siddiqui) received vantika National Award.

Iti Mittal from Chhawani Branch was selected for state level drawing competition on the topic Energy Conservation. At District level she won a cash award of Rs. 1000/-.

SPORTS

The session began with the victory of our football team against Army School on 29th April. Another victory by basketball team against Army school on 16th May.

Girls and boys under 19 participated in 54th District Level Football championship.

School hosted finals of 54th District Basketball Championship. Under 17 boys and under 19 girls bagged second prize. Under 17 girls bagged third position.

In martial arts Megha Hada won gold medal and Nitin Arora won silver medal in 3rd CBSE West Zone Takewondo Competition at the National Level.

Bakhshi Springdales took a step ahead in the field academics. Georgia Perimeter College in Atlanta Georgia USA announced its online early enrolment program through us. Through this program after 10th Std., a student can begin university studies in the US. Mr. Richard Beaubien, Director of Recruitment and Admissions at GPC visited the school to extend the venture between the two academic houses.

Mrs. Nisha Jain, Mrs. Nishat Siddiqui and Mr. Kiran Pal Singh attended a workshop about installation of different kinds of labs.

Ms. Parmeet Arora attended a three days workshop on the teaching methods for the primary classes at Jaipur.

In August Oxford University Press organized a seminar on NewApproach in Teaching English to Senior classes. It was attended by Mrs. Kritika Tandon and Mrs. Diltaj Caur.

2nd Environmental Educator Conference was conducted by TERI from 2nd to 5th Nov. at Gurgaon. The topic of the conference was Road to sutainable school. It was attended by Ms. Iram Qamar and Ms. Vandana Punjwani.

Mr. Pritam Goswami & Mr. Pawan Lalpuria of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India counselled the commerce stream students. They foresee the demand of 50,000 CAs in near future. It was quite an enlighting talk.

EXPANSION & FUTURE PLANS

Construction of the building is started canteen, football ground and an open auditorium.

The library has been renovated.

Soon our existing classrooms will be converted to smart classes, a digital initiative, which would transform the way of teaching with innovative and meaningful use of technology.

The school has signed a contract with EDUCOMP (Smartclass) The cost will be about 50 lacs. It will be operative from 1st April. In the beginning there will be 10 smart classes with one knowledge centre.

There are plans to renovate the existing audio-visual room.

Event & Achievement - 2008

NTSE-2007: Navdeep S. Hada and Shubham Agarwal (V) got 3 Rank in Kota. Prateek Jain AIR-137

4th stage- State Level competition was held at Ludhiana on 6th January. Our Team of Manish Kumar and Shankar Saran stood 5th There were 38 teams from all over Unified Cyber Olympiad was held on 21 September 07. 106 students participated 5 were selected for second level to be held at Jaipur on 9th Dec 07. Aditya Sharma and Prakhar Gupta went, Aditya Sharma got 305th rank and Prakhar Gupta was 49th Rank in All India Ranking.

All major schools participated. Junior Group – Kirti Saxena stood first and Prakshi second. School won the winners trophy also.

In September Kota Schools and Colleges were invited to write an essay to express their views on their chosen character from Narendra Kohli novel Vasudev. In senior group Prateek Harsora was first and Neha Khandelwal got third position.

In Junior group – Shikha Mudgal bagged first position and Geetika Dave Second.

Painting competition was organized by the Power Grid Corporation of India. From Kota schools, 50 entries were short listed, two of them from our school, these two young aspiring artists Mahak Sharma and Pooja Sharma of Std V from our Chhawni school won the consolation prize of Rs. 3000/- each on Children Day at Jaipur.

Pashmeen Sethi won 2nd prize.

I Mrs. Bakhshi fortunate to receive the Governor award for social responsibility.

Seminars, workshops exhibitions, educational tours

On 20 January 07 there was a Hindi workshop for classes I to VIII to acquaint the teachers with changing trends based on CBSE curricular. The resource person was Dr. D. V. Singh.

In the beginning July Macmillan India Ltd. Publishers organized a work shop on English teaching and to improve language skills. 11 teachers participated in it.

In July Mathematics workshop was held at Sir Padampat Singhania School it was attended by Mr. Dinesh Jain and Mr. K. S. Sahni.

Seminar for the principals of the schools was held in the Mayo school Ajmer in August on Adolescence Educational Program attended by myself, in continuation with this the nodal workshop for teachers was held in August. it was attended by Dr. Ritu Bali and Mrs Ritu Bhargava

21 COMPAQ Pentium Dual Core 3.2 have been purchased for the computer lab and One HP Laser Printer.

Water Cooler has been installed in the play ground.

The elevator is ready for use.

New grounds have been completed in Chhawani school.

Planning has started for construction of a new building in Civil Lines.

Our immediate plans are to buy Handy cam and LCD Projector and construction of an outdoor Stage to accommodate large number of audience.
